We are delighted to be able to announce that we are at Brimstage Farm the Bank holiday weekend 25th May to 27 May 2024.
As part of the annual country fair organised by Brimstage Farm, Wirral Vikings (Wirhalh Skip Felagr) and Friends come together to give you an insight into how life was lived in the 10th Century over the Bank holiday weekend 25th May to 27 May 2024. With displays of crafts from the period you can see how various aspects of Viking and Saxon daily life were performed. The displays of combat will give you a feel of what it was like to be on the battlefield during clashes between warring factions. With exploration of the technology and way of living during the “Viking Period” there is something for all age groups.
If you have an interest in the Viking age, the history of the period or simply want to be entertained by the combat display there is something for you.

Merseyside’s leading Viking, Saxon and Norman re-enactment group
Wirhalh Skip Felagr focuses primarily upon the Hiberno Norse Vikings who settled the Wirral in 902AD.
We also portray several other nationalities from the “Viking Period” including:

Set in the heart of the Wirral Countryside Brimstage Farm has many activities including the famous Maze and Maizy’s Ice Cream Parlour.
Maizy’s Parlour’ & Maizy’s Playbarn are open every weekend through to July (Saturdays & Sundays from 10am-4pm).
Our famous Maize Maze will be open mid-July when the maize has had a chance to grow to it’s dizzy heights…bring on that much-needed sunshine!
